Mordialloc was always going to be a real test for us and for two and a half quarters it was a tight and hard fought battle.
Our superior fitness and desire to win the ball assisted us to break the game open late in the third quarter and consolidate in the last to build a really satisfying win.
We are gaining in confidence and it shows in the way we are now using our team mates as the first option.
This group of masters players are moulding themselves into a more cohesive unit and this will only benefit our game style as the season progresses.
Good work lads, it’s pleasing to see 24 solid contributors instead of the same old 3 or 4.
