A word from the coach.
With some key players missing from the Masters team this week we needed to experiment a little with structure and positioning. Interchange rotations were virtually seamless and the players involved were most receptive to the unfamiliar initiative. Team balance was maintained and players stepped up to the challenge. Our management of player welfare coming into the second half of the season sees the club in a good position to continue to build on its success. As a team we have created a wonderful camaraderie and the group is really playing well for each other. We still need to continue to work on our skills and set plays but as a playing group we are very focused on improving our short term individual and long term team goals. We will be challenged over the next few weeks but with continued hard work and dedication I’m confident the Raider Spirit will see us in good stead. Thank you to all the support staff today for your assistance.
