If the premiership in the Masters was awarded for effort, then engrave the cup now with the Raiders name. Gee we have a crack! Getting that score on the board continues to hurt us, but around the ground, pound for pound, we match it with anyone in our comp. Our backline was once again led superbly by Joel & Trev Mayne but it was a strong solid unit, even allowing for the early injury to Gags. Byron, Murph, TTA and Ross Sanders were great in defence also later being joined by Leo. The midfield led by Mouse, Stalesy, Cam Brown with rucking from Coops and Scotty Hollow were great and we got our fair share of clearances. The forwards tried hard with Barks & Scotty leading from the key forward posts and supported at their feet by Maney, Cam and Vaughanny. Special mention to Maney playing his 50th Game. Also thanks to Leo, Rugby Ross and Vaughnny for doubling up for us and also a very special thanks to Andy Riddle, who ran water for both Masters and Supers after playing in the Legends. That’s an awesome effort!
