In a game of see-sawing fortunes, the Raiders got off the a slow start but pegged the Cowboys back to lead by nine points at half time, thanks to good goals to Cam Brown, Jay, Mouse & Parksy. We held sway with a two goals to one third quarter, both to Cam Brown, to lead by fifteen points at the last change, but unfortunately ran out of legs in the last quarter to go down by eight points. It was a very even team performance and on a hot day, rotations were the key and most players got a rest during the day. We gave it a good crack but unfortunately no chocolates today! Special mention to Morgs, who just oozed class on his wing, and it was great to have him back. Special mention also to Gezza, who tried to get a sneaky game in and nearly paid the penalty!
