The Raiders got out to a flyer keeping Carrum goalless for the first half taking a 50 point lead into the long break. Coach Wokka knew that the challenge would come and come it did in the third quarter, with Carrum’s intensity increasing dramatically. We won the third quarter marginally to take 55 point lead into the last quarter, which was enough to withstand Carrum’s comeback with seven goals to one. A win is a win and if you’d given us a three goal win at the start of the day, we’d have taken it!
