A terrific team inspired win over Mordialloc on their own dunghill today to celebrate Skipper Morrey’s 50th game. The team mentality from the first bounce was inspirational with the Raiders winning many one-on-one contests against the opposition and following Biscuits’ pressure message to the letter. The teamwork and running to help out was terrific fully exampled by the sealer goal kicked by Cam Brown after a great chain of handballs down the outer wing. Great games today from all the team and I hesitate to single anyone out, but I will in Murph, who played an excellent four quarter game of football and lead the team through his actions. Given he was still sulking over Richmond’s loss, that was a big effort!! Special mention also to Maney who was lairising with a nonchalant left foot snap from two feet out!! Thanks to the blokes that helped out in Budge, Newy, Bretta, Parksy & Taco who enabled us to have a very competitive team on the park.
