Masters report, Round 3,
After a great win against last years grand finalist (Dingley at Dingley) in Rnd 2, the challenge was just as big heading to Bayside’s house who were undefeated and sitting on top of the ladder.
The boys were certainly up and about and looking forward to the challenge ahead.
It was a perfect start (again) and it was great for our 1st goal to come from the Red Barron, whom with that goal became the highest ever goal scorer in Raiders history!!! A huge congratulations to Charlie, (well done champ)
A 4 goal margin was ours at 1/4 time, this was never headed. Our 2nd, 3rd & 4th qtrs have been very even in the 1st 3 rnds so our starts have been Hugely Important.
What’s most impressive is that when opposition sides try and work there way back into the games our on field leadership really shines through and we arrest the challenge very Quickly.
You boys really dug deep.It was a Fantastic game of footy not only to watch but for all the players involved.
3 wins from 3 and now let’s look forward to the next 3 games at the Dome!
