Dynesys Dictation, O45’s Rd 7, 2019 Match Report.

Great day for the 45s today, and we won by plenty.

We wore the black arm bands for our mate Army, and Lenny’s dear mum Ruth.

I was worried that it would be a waste of time, and just plain miserable for the Mordy boys,

but they played and battled well despite the scoreboard.

We had plenty out with other commitments and injury,

The quiet achievers stepped up and took the game on.

Andy was a fitting Captain for the day, Gooch was on fire.

Letchy was everywhere, Coxy played well for both teams, Trev showed signs of his supers form back in the day.

Morrie took possession on the flank, took off towards goal, bounced and kept going, burnt a few off and kept going, he just kept going and going.

Then right on the gravy stroke, when it looked like unravelling, he just flicked a cunning handpass to Gabe I think, who slotted the major and it was Seppo high fives all round.

That’s the sort of stuff footy dreams are made of at any age.

It reminded me of Manny’s goal from the wing all those years ago.

Gabe kicked his 100^th goal.

Charlie kicked his 150^th goal.

Clarky played his 150^th game.

Rosco played his 250^th game.

All great servants of the club.

Not sure who our best were but Mouse, Parksy, Big Rich, Gabe, Chop, Letchy, Gooch, Morgs, Bradders I could name the whole team, all were terrific.
