After some soul searching, self analysis and quiet contemplation I’m ready for our next game.
We have had two bad games in what I would call a ‘mini’ mid season form slump.
Given the talent we had out of our regular line up Sunday started well and our first half was promising. Team structure, player rules & set plays were working nicely. We played hard team orientated football and came into the rooms at half time fully spent. The third Qtr saw a few decisions start to go against us and it was uncanny how the mood and flow of the game centred around the opposition being slowly brought back into the contest.
Losing players to injury and some undisciplined acts cost us big time and going into the last Qtr undermanned was the catalyst for losing the 4 points.
Fortunately, for our round 7 clash we should have a full list to pick from. We have 3 remaining games to redeem ourselves.
It’s entirely up to the playing group how they want the 2016 season to be remembered. Dig deep boys and lets finish off the year with a positive vibe.
